28 Weeks Later Poster Analysis

This poster is extremely effective in engaging the audience as the two main characters appear to be running towards them as if in need of help. The silhouettes of the zombies chasing them show that the film is going to be about them running and being helpless, making the audience feel even more engaged. The red sky gives the impression that their will be bloodshed within the film. The slogan and the title stand out from the poster so that they stick in the minds of the audience. The use of the whole city behind suggests that it may not just be these two people in danger but the whole city/ country or even world. This again makes the audience feel involved because it may be close to home and they may then feel vulnerable.
